King Valley Wines (KVW) is a professionally run and well equipped contract winemaking facility.  We are located in Whitfield, 50 kilometres south of Wangaratta, in the heart of the King Valley's grape growing area.  KVW focuses on making quality wines for its many and varied customer base.  Flexible facilities allow for batches of fruit, varying in size from 5T to 50T, to be processed to our customers specifications.

KVW prides itself on providing quality winemaking, laboratory and bottling services, as well as business facilities for visiting customers.

We believe strongly in ethical business practices, food safety processes and environmental sustainability.  This is reflected by our audit approved memberships of the following industry organisations:

  • Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (SEDEX) authenticated by SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) – 4 Pillars.  The 4 pillars are Labor Standards; Health & Safety; Business Ethics and Environment.  
  • HACCP Food Safety - annual Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) Audit ensures KVW idenfities critical control points so food safety hazards are reduced, eliminated or prevented. 
  • Sustainable Winegrowing Australia - combined with our Freshcare (Sustainable Practice - Winery) accreditation, this allows us to partner with customers to produce wines that can be certified and labelled Sustainable.
